Aiplanote is a notepad, not a chat room. Here's exactly what stays on your device, what goes to our server, and why.
We do not collect your photos, contacts, location, browsing history, or any files outside the app. The only data that ever leaves your device is the note text you choose to send when you trigger an AI action, described below.
Aiplanote's AI features (turning raw text into headers, bullet points, checklists, summaries, and chat) are powered by DeepSeek, a third-party AI provider — but your note text never goes straight to them.
When you tap an AI action like Process All or Chat, the text of your note or chat is sent to our secure server. Before forwarding to DeepSeek — our AI partner — our server censors all sensitive data. We do not store your note text or chat. No other data — audio, photos, or account info — is ever sent. You can use Aiplanote fully offline with AI features turned off.
What's sent: only the text of the note or chat you're actively using, at the moment you trigger an AI action (for example, tapping "Process All" or "Chat"). Nothing is sent automatically or in the background. It first reaches our server, which strips sensitive data before forwarding the remainder to DeepSeek for processing.
What's not sent: your email, password, account details, device identifiers, audio, photos, or any other note you haven't asked the AI to touch.
Before your first AI action, Aiplanote shows an on-screen prompt naming our server and DeepSeek and asking your permission. If you decline, AI features stay off and your notes are never sent anywhere — everything remains fully local. You can review or change this choice at any time in Settings → AI & Privacy.
Our server does not retain a copy of your note text or chat once the request has been processed. DeepSeek processes the censored text solely to return the formatted result to your note or chat. See DeepSeek's own privacy policy for how they handle data they receive: deepseek.com/privacy.

Aiplanote is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, we'll notify you by email or in-app. Material changes — like adding a new third-party service — will ask for your consent again before taking effect.
